If you're feeling the effects of seasonal allergies this week... I hear you! Everything seems to be coming back to life in New England.  Flowers are blooming, trees are green once more, neighbors are puttering in their gardens, and the birds busy building nests and enjoying freshly filled feeders. Spring has surely arrived.  While it's easy to get swept up in rituals that mark the season, I'd encourage you to trust your intuition and stick to what is working for you.

When it comes to skincare, you don't necessarily need new routines and rituals each season. In fact, knowing your skin and trusting yourself to make great choices for your skin, is the ideal ritual -- one that is not bound by any season.  This month's Skincare Blühprint is focused on trusting your intuition, something that can be tricky when we have a constant flow of information and opinions coming our way.

Build trust with us:

  • It's called a gut instinct for a reason. Are you familiar with the science behind intuition? Scientists call the stomach our body's second brain for a great reason. Our digestive tracts are lined with a network of approximately 100 million neurons lining your entire digestive tract (more than our spinal cords!), pointing to the gut’s incredible processing abilities and significant neurological connection.  When making decisions based on intuition or that gut instinct, our brain works with our gut to make the most sound decision by processing memories, lessons learned, personal needs and preferences. These gut feelings should not be quickly dismissed as simply fleeting emotion -- intuition is valuable emotional and experiential data.
  • Take your own advice. When you find yourself facing a challenging choice or situation, take a step back to consider what advice would you give a loved one in a similar situation. It's ok (in fact, it's ideal!) to want the best possible outcome for yourself, just as you would want this for others.
  • Be present in your body. Pay attention to how your body feels in any given situation. Our bodies know so much, and often communicate quite clearly, if we are paying attention. This may be as simple as remembering to apply moisturizer, or as significant as choosing who you spend time with.
Our April Skincare Blühprint features three products that you may choose to add to your current skincare ritual, based on the needs of your skin, or how you're feeling on any given day!
  • Smooth and depuff with our award-winning Eye Oil Serum. This innovative serum is packed with vital bioactives and nutrient dense organic seed oils proven effective in targeting and repairing the signs of aging skin. Kakadu plum and green coffee bean oil are powerhouse antioxidants rich in phytosterols and essential fatty acids working swiftly to reduce the appearance of puffiness and dark circles. Hibiscus and cucumber actively boost hydration to tighten and smooth the delicate tissue around the eyes, leaving them visibly rejuvenated, firm and lifted.
  • Plump and restore with our award-winning Vital Moisture Mask. Drench your skin with this innovative complex of powerhouse hydrators, nutrient dense fruit oils and replenishing bioactives. Hero ingredient, Queen Garnet Plum Cellular Extract is loaded with vitamin A, C and K with an unprecedented level of anthocyanins to deliver improved hydration and collagen production while reducing the effects of photo-aging and glycation. Snow Mushroom, Sea Kelp Bioferment, Resurrection Plant, Buriti and Buah Merah fruit oil penetrate the skin to restore vital moisture and essential vitamins - resulting in a plump, radiant, healthy looking complexion.
  • Nourish and balance your skin with our award-winning Cleansing Oil. Our formula is crafted with a nourishing blend of organic oils and active botanicals that melt away makeup and the daily build-up of impurities. Gentle but deeply clarifying actives decongest pores while restoring your skin’s natural balance- resulting in a clear, radiant complexion.
Thanks for always trusting our small business with your skincare rituals! As always, I am so grateful that you are part of this community.
